The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency has announced grant funding is available to help reduce drug overdoses.
The PCCD and Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs has made $12 million in State Opioid Response funding available to “expand access to evidence-based diversion, treatment, and recovery services.”
Counties and nonprofit organizations are welcome to apply for up to 24 grants of $500,000 or less over 18 months which can be used for Harm reduction and peer recovery services.
An informational webinar is happening tomorrow (Thursday) at 10 a.m. for interested applicants and the deadline to apply is October 31st.
