A local facility for mental health recovery is making some changes to when they plan to be open.
Previously, the Grapevine Center has been open on major holidays so that people in need always have a place to go.
A recent statement from operators is that this is no longer possible so effective this upcoming Monday which is Labor Day, all activities including the Drop-In Center and Warmline will be closed. This will also be the case on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, and July 4th.
The Grapevine Center will still be open on most other public holidays and will hold celebrations for major holidays when they are open.
