An event tomorrow will remember and celebrate lives lost due to mental health.
The annual Remembrance and Awareness Rally will take place Thursday at the Alameda Park Carousel Shelter from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will feature those talking about their past experiences with mental health, messages of hope, and a proclamation from all three Butler County Commissioners.
The rally coincides with Mental Illness Awareness Week and is sponsored by the Grapevine Center with live music and a short candlelight vigil to follow the speakers.
The event includes a buffet lunch and is free to the community.
