Fundraising efforts for the barn on Slippery Rock’s high school campus may soon get underway.
The barn is in need for some improvement projects to prevent the structure from being torn down.
According to school officials, the barn needs water abatement, French drains, minor interior repairs and landscaping work.
Earlier this week the Historic Barn Committee received approval to begin fundraising efforts.
But the board and the committee are still in discussion on how to fundraise and how much money is needed was not provided by school officials.
