A Grove City man is in the Mercer County Jail after he allegedly raped and assaulted a woman.
Grove City police used security footage to press charges against 39-year-old Stephen Salzman.
The victim didn’t report the alleged assaults until late August, but claims she was first assaulted in January. The victim said she feared for her and her children’s welfare.
Salzman is accused of choking, hitting, and sexually assaulting the victim on video. He has been placed in the Mercer County Prison on $500,000 bond and is facing several charges including rape and aggravated assault.
A preliminary hearing has been set for September 24.
