A Grove City woman is facing multiple charges following an investigation into funds missing from a nonprofit organization in neighboring Mercer County.
According to Grove City Police, officers were informed last month that a series of unauthorized withdrawals had been made from an account belonging to the Friends of the Grove City Library.
An investigation determined that 45-year-old Meghann Rigney was responsible for transferring over $9,000 into her personal account as part of 22 transactions between March and July.
Rigney will now face changes including Felony Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, Felony Theft by Unlawful Taking – Movable Property, Felony Receiving Stolen Property, and Felony Access Device Fraud.
