After 17 months, a major project to improve a busy local intersection is complete.
According to Butler Township officials, motorists are now able to access the full extent of the project to improve safety at the intersection of Hansen Avenue, Whitestown Road, and Armco Drive.
Ground was broken on this project in March of 2024 and included a delay in completion from October of last year to March of this year when crews were waiting on the delivery of poles and signals.
The cost of the work was nearly $3.4 million with about $1.4 million coming from a grant secured by Butler Township from the state.
