The Harmony Fire District is moving to a new location.
The group signed an agreement to buy the former Jack Hockenberg Motors location on South Main Street in Zelienople.
Officials say they spent months looking at data and research before settling on the new location. The current building sits on one acre of land and will be torn down in favor of building a new facility. The estimated cost of the project is $6 million.
A specific timeline of the project wasn’t detailed, but the Harmony Fire District hopes to move into the new facility in the next couple of years.
