A Harmony man is facing charges after accusations that he fired a gun into a neighboring Jackson Township home.
On November 22, police were called to a home in the 100 block of Maple Glen Drive for reported bullet holes in the home.
During the investigation, officers found the shots came from 54-year-old David Lui. Lui told officers he was cleaning his gun and was unaware of a bullet in the chamber.
He then “dry fired” the gun sending a bullet through his home into a neighboring home. Lui told police he attempted to contact his neighbor the next morning but never informed police of the firing.
Lui has been charged with discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and recklessly endangering another person. He was released on nonmonetary bond and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 21.
