Nascar placed a heavy penalty on Kevin Harvick and his team for a modified piece of equipment on his Ford at Talladega Superspeedway. Harvick and Stewart-Haas Racing have been docked 100 points each. Crew chief Rodney Childers was fined $100,000 and suspended four races.
Harvick has been a very vocal critic of the new “Next-Gen” car.
The drivers will tackle the “Roval” course at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday. Hear the race on WBUT beginning at 1pm.
