Healthcare workers will be rallying in Harrisburg today advocating for a new bill that would add in more guardrails for private equity groups to purchase hospitals.
The bill would prohibit sales that go against the public interest. It would also add in more regulations for companies to meet if they do purchase a hospital or healthcare entities.
Members of the PASNAP group will join Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis on the Capitol steps in Harrisburg pushing for the bill to become law.
