Earlier this week Adams Township approved to set a public hearing for a newly proposed building.
According to a township official, an interested investor wants to build an indoor arena for several sports.
The issue has been back and forth between the planning commission and supervisors, but with over 400 signatures from parents and associations in favor of the arena, a hearing has been set for an update to the township’s recreation ordinance.
The changes needed would impact where the facility could go in the township.
The ordinance hearing has been set for February 22 at 5 p.m. at the township building.
