Vinnie Cugini of Aquinas Academy has broken the WPIAL all-time scoring record that has stood for 30 years. Cugini netted 33 points last night to reach 2,841 career points. That breaks the mark set by Tom Pipkins of Valley set from 1989-to-1993. Wampum’s Don Hennon set the original mark in 1955.
