The WPIAL football playoff picture is set.
- #5 Mars will take on #4 Thomas Jefferson in the 4A WPIAL playoffs.
- #12 Burrell will visit #5 North Catholic in the 3A first round.
- #8 Freeport will host #9 Beaver in the 3A first round.
District 9 Playoffs
- Karns City received a bye in the 2A playoffs and will face the winner of Perry and Central Clarion.
- In 1A, Union/AC Valley received the #2 seed and will face Cameron County.
SOCCER PLAYOFFS
- Freeport girls defeated North Catholic 4-3 in overtime in the WPIAL 3A playoffs.
- Seneca Valley boys defeated Canon McMillan 3-1 in the first round of the 4A playoffs. They’ll face Peters Township in the semi-finals.
