–Shaler defeated Butler 4-3.
–Butler JV fell to Shaler 7-0. Cooper Baxter had three of Butler’s eight hits.
–Knoch opened section play with a 6-3 victory over Derry. Jack Bartek threw five innings for the win. He struck out eight. Ethan Sloane had two hits, a stolen base and scored twice. The Knights improved to 4-0. Knoch will travel to Yough today. The game had been scheduled for Friday – but is being moved up due to the forecasted rain.

–Seneca Valley-13 Latrobe-3 in six innings.
