Phil Mickelson won the PGA Championship by two strokes Sunday in South Carolina. At the age of 50, he becomes the oldest major champion in the 161 years of major championship golf. Mickelson shot a final round 1-over 73 to hold off Louis Oosthuizen and Brooks Koepka by two strokes. It was Mickelson’s sixth career major win, but first since 2013. The previous oldest major winner was Julius Boros at the age of 48, when he won the PGA Championship in 1968.
