A proposed bill in the Pennsylvania House looks to make internet access more readily available for Pennsylvanians.
A bill introduced by representatives from Philadelphia and Allegheny County looks to mirror the federal Affordable Connectivity Program, which offers up to $30 a month to go towards internet service.
According to Representative Lindsay Powell of Allegheny County, 740,000 Pennsylvanians benefited from the federal program.
