A house in Connoquenessing was completely destroyed in an fire Thursday evening.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 4 p.m. for a house fire in the 100 block of Connoquenessing School Road.
When crews got on scene, they saw smoke and flames coming from the one-story home. They also called for additional crews to help put out the blaze.
Firefighters were eventually able to get the fire under control around 5 p.m.
While nobody was injured, a dog did die in the blaze.
It’s not clear what started the fire.
