Crews responded to a small fire after a home was hit by lightning.
It happened at a home in the 100 block of Pemberly Drive in Cranberry around 9:15 p.m.
Dispatchers say the home was hit by lightning and there was smoke in the attic.
Crews were able to find the hot spot and hit it with a water can. They also spotted smoke under the roof ridge cap. That was brought under control quickly.
The extent of the damage is not known.
