There are still some Butler County residents without power following yesterday’s afternoon storms.
Around 300 West Penn customers are experiencing outages as of noon today—a majority of those outages are in the northeastern part of the county. There’s also a handful of Central Electric customers also without power as well.
Emergency crews were busy responding to reports of trees and wires down on roads particularly in Concord Township on Hooker Road as well as Parker Township on Fairview Road.
Traffic needed to be diverted in multiple areas to allow for electric crews to address the wires before clean-up of the trees could begin.
