An investigation is underway after ICE detained more than a dozen people at a DMV in Armstrong County.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, there were 13 people detained at the West Kittanning DMV Saturday afternoon.
DHS says that ICE agents were called after “concerned citizens reported an abnormally large amount of individuals” outside the DMV.
One of the individuals allegedly tried to resist arrest and assaulted an officer.
According to a social media post, a website error is sending people to the Kittanning DMV to renew commercial driver licenses.
An investigation is ongoing.
