Independence Health System is hosting a free health screening event this week.
An informative hernia education and screening will take place on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at their Crossroads Campus on Oneida Valley Road.
Residents will be able to hear from a couple of general surgeons about types of hernias and treatment options as well as engage in a question-and-answer session.
