Pennsylvania Senators were split on yesterday’s infrastructure bill that passed with bipartisan support.
Democrat Bob Casey voted for the new $1.2 trillion package while Republican Pat Toomey voted no.
Casey praised the bill saying that an investment is needed in America’s roads, bridges, and public transportation.
Toomey meanwhile said it was too expensive and expansive. He also added he doesn’t believe the bill is paid for and it impacts cryptocurrency.
The bill now moves to the House, where its future is uncertain. Congressman Mike Kelly of Butler has already said that he doesn’t support the bill as it’s currently written.
