One person was injured after an intoxicated driver drove his car into a crowd earlier this weekend in the northern part of Butler County.
According to State Police, an unidentified 23-year-old man was traveling on Stillwater Lane in Slippery Rock Township around 2:30am on Saturday when he drove his car into a crowd of people. A 20-year-old man was struck by the vehicle and suffered unknown injuries.
Authorities say that Slippery Rock Borough Police later located the driver, who fled on foot and was later apprehended. The suspect will face charges including Aggravated Assault.
