An investigation is underway into the 911 outage that happened last week.
The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency says 911 services were restored late Friday night after an alert went out to residents around 3:30 p.m. that day.
Officials say it could be a software or hardware issue that led to the outage.
They also say it’s a good idea to save the county’s non-emergency phone number which is 724-282-1221
