The Nascar iRacing schedule will run its final televised race Saturday when they race on the no-longer used speedway in North Wilkesboro. Jeff Gordon won the last race there in 1996 – and will join the field tomorrow as well. Race time on Fox is 3pm.
The Nascar season will resume the following Sunday with actual racing at Darlington. WBUT will be providing coverage.
IndyCar announced Thursday that it will open its delayed season on June 6th at Texas Motor Speedway, without spectators. There will be a condensed schedule, with practice, qualifying, and the race taking place on the same day. There will be other safety guidelines, including a limit on the number of personnel on site, social distancing protocols, health screening for all participants, and personal protection equipment for everyone entering the facility.
