The Italian Festival begins Thursday in Downtown Butler.
Hundreds of people are expected to gather throughout the weekend on Main Street. But, that also means a lot of traffic implications for drivers.
Main Street from Cunningham to Brady Streets will be shut down starting at 2 p.m. Friday and remain closed through 10:30 p.m.
Various side streets will also be closed throughout the weekend including East North, New Castle, and Locust Streets. A restriction for parking in the North Main Street lot begins today at 5 p.m.
Main Street will also close on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Then on Sunday motorists are prohibited from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.
