Jackson Township is welcoming a new four-legged officer to their police force.
Earlier this month, the township announced that they have a new K-9 officer named Canyon.
The one-year-old is a Belgian Malinois, who is certified in canine patrol, tracking, and narcotics detection.
He was sworn-in by District Judge Amy Marcinkiewicz on September 5th.
