The Pittsburgh Pirates came from behind to beat the Cardinals 4-3 Friday night at Busch Stadium.
Josh Bell hit his 14th home run with nobody on base in the second inning. David Freese tied the game at 2 in the 8th inning with a RBI single to right field with two outs and John Jaso hit the game winning home run in the top of the 9th inning. Jameson Taillon struck out seven batters while only allowing two runs over six solid innings.
The Pirates and Cardinals play again tonight at 7:15 p.m. You can hear coverage of that game on WISR 680 am starting at 6:50 p.m.
