A local park will host an educational session this weekend that will focus on birds that inhabit the woods of Pennsylvania.
On Saturday, the Jennings Environmental Education Center will welcome visitors who are interested in learning more about woodcocks and owls.
This event will begin at 7 p.m. with a brief indoor presentation and continue out on the prairie trails with the goal of hearing or seeing the birds until about 9 p.m.
Space is limited and preregistration is required by calling the center.
