Late last week a federal judge ruled against the Trump Administration and says the federal government must fund SNAP benefits.
Governor Josh Shapiro was one of many states to join a lawsuit that argued that funding for SNAP are available and must be distributed.
On Friday, a federal court ruled in favor of requiring the Trump Administration to fund SNAP benefits that were expected to end this weekend.
It’s unclear if benefits would go on as schedule or if an appeal could delay the distribution of benefits.
