There are no new taxes for residents in the Karns City School District.
The board approved their school budget for next year, keeping the tax rate the same as 2020.
The district budgeted just over $24 million in expenditures and also has $7.3 million set aside in their fund balance.
Nearly two-thirds of the Karns City School District’s funding comes from the state, which is based off of the basic education funding formula.
