Karns City School District is taking extra precautions following an alert by state police.
The district sent a message to parents that state police got in touch with district security after they were made aware of a concerning comment from a local resident.
The person said they were “seeing visions” and that the high school “may get blown up” on May 7th.
State police do not consider the threat credible, but Karns City is taking extra precautions by increasing the presence of state police over the next two weeks.
