Congressman Mike Kelly is supporting legislation that aims to combat obesity.
The new bill is called the “Treat and Reduce Obesity Act” and it would expand coverage of new health care specialists and chronic weight management medications for Medicare recipients.
Kelly says the legislation would allow seniors struggling with obesity to “take a responsible, proactive approach to improve their health.”
The bill has bipartisan support.
