There is still time for families of young children in the Mars Area School District to sign up for a Kindergarten Preview event taking place tomorrow.
Watermelon Welcome will take place during two sessions on Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. as well as 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Mars Area Primary Center.
Parents and kids who are registered to attend kindergarten during the 2026-27 school year will have the chance to visit the classroom, explore online learning software, and play on the school playground.
Those interested in participating are asked to RSVP by visiting the Mars District website or calling the Primary Center for more information.
