A Kittanning man is facing charges for sexually assaulting a young child.
State police arrested 60-year-old John Toy after an investigation revealed he allegedly sexually abused a nine-year-old girl for three years.
Police say their investigation started after receiving a ChildLine report and found the assaults began in 2022 and ran through August of this year.
Toy is facing numerous charges, including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child.
He’s currently in the Armstrong County Jail.
