Both the Knoch School Board and Education Association have approved a recent fact-finding report resulting in the basis for a new contract.
As part of contract negotiations, the teachers union requested a hearing with a mediator appointed by the State Labor Board last month.
The school board unanimously accepted the determinations made by a former superintendent last week and the teachers voted to also accept the report yesterday. This report has now been made public.
The prospective deal would be for four years beginning when the previous deal expired this past June and continuing through June of 2029.
