When the PIAA Track and Field championships take place at Shippensburg University in May, a former stand-out Butler County athlete will be honored with induction into the Pennsylvania High School Track and Field Hall of Fame. Jordan Geist, a 2017 Knoch graduate will be honored in a ceremony Saturday, May 27th. A three-time state champion in the shot put and discus, still owns the state record in both events as well as the hammer throw.
Geist in his sixth year at the University of Arizona and will be competing in the NCAA Indoor Championships this weekend in New Mexico.
