The last holiday weekend of the summer is expected to continue the busy travel trend of this past year.
AAA is predicting another strong Labor Day travel period, with gas and other travel costs lower than they have been for several years.
The travel agency says the worst times to be on the road are from 1 to 8 p.m. today and noon to 8 p.m. tomorrow (Friday).
PennDOT and the State Police will be conducting impaired driving enforcement details through Monday in an effort to finish with fewer than last year’s total of over 1,000 crashes with over 700 injuries and 13 fatalities.
