Thursday officially kicks off the Labor Day travel weekend.
Travel experts believe that the busiest time on the road will be today in between 2-6 p.m.
Meanwhile, AAA is also expecting a heavier volume of traffic tomorrow between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Overall, domestic bookings for flights and hotels are up four percent, while international bookings have gone up 44 percent compared to last year.
