A house was damaged in a fire yesterday morning in Lancaster Township.
Multiple crews were called to a home in the 300 block of Route 19 just before 9:30 a.m. for a working fire.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke billowing from the second floor of the home. When crews got inside, there were visible flames.
Everyone was able to get out of the house safely, and no one was injured.
Fire officials the home was saved, but there is smoke and water damage.
A portion of Route 19 was restricted to one lane while crews battled the fire.
