Today is the final day for candidates to have their nomination petition challenged.
If no challenges are filed today against signatures on a candidate’s nomination petition, their name will remain on the ballot for the primary election.
If challenges are filed, the candidate will need to provide evidence the signatures meet all requirements.
Then on Wednesday, a ballot lottery will be held to determine the order in which names are show on the primary ballot.
The primary election will take place on May 19th.
