The newest class of Leadership Butler County has picked its community project for the year.
The group has selected the Prospect Boys and Girls Club and will be updating parts of the baseball fields. They will be building two new dugouts, a concession stand, and will replace a fence at Pinto Field.
The project was selected from a pool of 10 applications.
Leadership Butler County picks a community project each year for the class to work on together.
This year’s Leadership class is the largest in the program’s 33-year history. 36 professionals from around the county are participating.
Leadership Butler County is a program that is affiliated with the Butler County Chamber of Commerce.
