Hall of Fame golfer Juan “Chi Chi” Rodriguez has died at the age of 88. Rodriguez joined the PGA Tour in 1960 and when on to win 22 times on the tour. He was inducted into the PGA World Golf Hall of Fame in 1992. He was famous for his on-course celebratory dances that featured a salsa step or matador routine after making a birdie putt.
The first round of the Wyndham Championship golf tournament was rained out Thursday due to the tropical system Debby in North Carolina. The tournament is the final regular-season stop on the PGA Tour and decides the top 70 players in the FedEx Cup who advance to the postseason, which features two $20 million tournaments and the Tour Championship.
