A local non-profit organization is receiving state recognition for high quality early care and education programs.
Five Lifesteps Early Care and Education locations in Armstrong, Beaver, and Butler Counties earned a STAR 4 level from the Keystone STARS program.
To achieve this performance standard, Lifesteps Early Care and Education was judged in criteria such as learning environment, staff education, professional development, partnerships with families and communities, and leadership and management.
Lifesteps Early Care and Education provides full and part-time childcare options as well as no-cost or subsidized care for qualifying children.
