As you take down the Christmas lights, a local school district says they will accept them as donations.
Mars Area School District’s elementary schools are collecting holiday lights for upcoming activities.
District officials say that the lights must be functioning, and can be used or brand new.
The lights can be dropped off at elementary school buildings during school hours now through January 26th.
