The team from Newtown, Pennsylvania was eliminated at the Little League World Series Tuesday following a 3-1 loss to Hawaii. Teams from Venezuela, Mexico and Florida were winners yesterday to remain alive. Hawaii and Florida play tonight at 7pm in an elimination game. Venezuela and Mexico meet at 5pm, with the losing team going home.
Two of today’s games will determine championship weekend match-ups. Chinese-Taipei and Japan play for one of the International Championship game spots at 1pm. Nevada and Texas play at 3pm, with the winner advancing to the U.S. championship game Saturday. The overall championship game will be played Sunday afternoon.
