A longtime local business is planning to renovate their Butler City facility while continuing to maintain a presence in the area.
Marmon Keystone has been located at the corner of East Cunningham and South Cliff Streets for over 100 years but nearly all employees were recently consolidated at their East Butler location.
A company representative informed our newsroom that the facility will be renovated to current standards in order to better fit today’s business needs. Marmon Keystone is currently taking bids for the work but it’s not known how long the project will last at this time.
The foundation of the current structure was built in the 1920s followed by an addition in the early 1960s and another in the late 1970s. The previous use for accounting and information technology is no longer required but Marmon Keystone will continue to have a presence in the city of Butler.
