In local college football from Saturday:
Pitt fell in overtime to Boston College, the final 31-30. Both teams scored in the overtime period, but a missed extra point cost the Panthers the win. Kicker Alex Kessman broke a school record after he made a 58-yard field goal to send the game into overtime. Pitt will return to action this Saturday (10/17) when they take on #7 Miami (FL) at 12pm.
WVU was off on Saturday. They will return this coming Saturday when they take on Kansas.
