The number of local hospitalizations and COVID cases continues to increase in Butler County.
According to the Department of Health, there were 66 new cases of COVID over the last seven days—which is up 20 more compared to last week.
As of yesterday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating seven patients for the coronavirus, with two in the ICU. That’s up from three patients last week.
Statewide hospitalizations are also growing, with 462 patients receiving now being treated for COVID. That’s up more than 100 compared to last Friday.
